MyMiniFactory has just created a new facet for their platform that many should find exciting, especially if you are a 3D printing entrepreneur. With The Studios, passionate and talented designers are invited to participate and pursue their ambitions. There, they can sell their work with the help of MMF benefits such as revenue share, premium site features, and a bevy of marketing tools. Wouldn't use MMF if you paid me Brian, been there, done that... nearly 4 weeks for a model uploaded to be "approved"

While I appreciate they want to ensure models are printable - I gave them 40+ examples of my model that had been printed by many members of Thingiverse - THEY STATE that attaching photos of the item printed will speed up the process, well that's just not true.

I also had dealings with a "Zachary" at MMF, and mid email conversation, he just Ghosts me because he can't answer the questions I'm throwing at him. If you don't know the answer, you say "sorry, I don't know the answer" you don't just cut all communication.

Bottom line, I cannot endorse this website sorry.

I would tell you but that's when he stopped communicating.

MyMinifactory Both control the upload (and pictures of printed versions attached - you have NO say in it, even if they printed a terrible print of it) and secondly, they are selling your models and you have no say in it. When you go to buy a model off MMF, often it is leading to them, not the designer.. who am I buying it off? and even moreso as a Seller, how am I making money when they are controlling everything? the links, the descriptions, the photos. It's very constricting.

The worst part? they don't check if someone stole that model, they just publish and sell it. Like Just3DPrint, I found models of mine people uploaded and sold on MMF - so what's the difference between MMF and Just3DPrint? Ebay is about the only difference. At least we can get Ebay pages taken down. You point out your stolen models on MMF, provide them with links to the original source for your model (which is dated sometimes YEARS previous to the MMF upload) - you point out a massive flaw in their system and what do they do? They stop replying to emails.
