The Festo team has created a new innovation in their series of nature-inspired robots and networking creations—all part of their bionic learning network propelled by electronics and artificial intelligence. With the 3D Cocooner, a tripod robot is directed by software to create complex yet balanced and stable latticeworks that can actually be redirected and reconnected during the process. The result is an intense and quite unified structure that has even further potential as an enclosed space if covered with material or foil. The 3D Cocooner will be on display at this year’s Hannover Fair in Germany from April 25th-29th. Read more at 3DPrint.com: https://3dprint.com/128588/3d-cocooner-resin/
