Local Motors is pumping up the excitement as the second quarter looms and their deadline for beginning to offer pre-sales of their LM3D series looms. With that in mind, the company has just produced a fun video which allows everyone to take a look at exactly how a 3D printed car is made. Although obviously there’s a lot that goes into making a vehicle, from the 3D printing perspective, they show the simple process of creating a file, sending it to the BAAM 3D printer, and then working to assemble the car.
