iD Tech is sponsoring a Minecraft-themed 3D model contest for students in Kindergarten all the way through 12th grade. Participants are divided into three groups based on grade level: K-5th grade; 6th-8th grade; and 9th-12th grade. A winner will be chosen from each group, winning prizes that include a Dremel 3D Idea Builder Printer, a free week of iD Tech Campus, and $500 credit for Shapeways, along with your own 3D printed model -- courtesy of Shapeways, as well. All you need to do is come up with an excellent 3D model based on the Minecraft game, upload and share it on Shapeways with the proper tagging, and provide a good description of it, too. Before you know it, you could be the lucky owner of your own 3D printer and more incredible prizes! Read more at 3DPrint.com: http://3dprint.com/126463/minecraft-3d-model-contest/
