Shrinkage?

I have created a few models in TinkerCad and they always print smaller than the design i.e. a strut supposed to be 112mm printed at 105mm.
Obviously this is a calibration issue - is there a link to where to start?

I assume you are printing with a CTC printer,
since you posted this message in the CTC section of website, correct ?

Which Slicer software are you using ?
Does the size look correct in Slicer ?
Try correcting the size in the Slicer before printing .

Exporting from TinkerCad as an stl file and then using ReplicatorG to convert to x3g - not sure if I would notice a 7mm difference.
Should I use that as a basis and then scale all drawings up by that factor?

Why don't you use Makerbot-2.4 slicer and connect computer to printer, thru USB cable ?
(no need to convert to .x3g with that Slicer, and can use .stl files direct to printer)
(Most real slicer software give measurements less than a mm)
I don't consider Rep-G a Real Slicer, and does not have everything Needed !
Much easier that way and with Makerbot or Other Slicer you can check objects overall-size measurements, in all 3 axis, before printing.

We have tried Many different Slicers and the old Makerbot-2.4 is the one that worked Best with our CTC-Bizer,
since it has Original CTC Firmware version !
