The modeclix collection is the latest in 3D printed fashion, offering a prototype collection featuring eight dresses and two headpieces which can be customized either before fabrication or after, due to links which can be altered manually. The project was headed by Dr. Shaun Borstrock, Head of Design at the University of Hertfordshire, in collaboration with Professor Mark Bloomfield, Managing Director of electrobloom. The dresses are unique in their true wearability and comfort, with a strong emphasis on movement—as opposed to the stiff, unrealistic 3D printed garments we’ve often seen before.
