The University of Surrey's 3D Printed Diagnostic Tool is Nothing to Sneeze At

Researchers at the University of Surrey have developed a device called a "sneezometer," a small, 3D printed instrument that can measure the speed and force of a sneeze. A variation on the traditional spirometers used to measure the flow of air in and out of a patient's lungs, the sneezometer is thought to be the most sensitive yet of these types of devices, and could be highly effective in diagnosing asthma, sleep apnea and other potentially serious respiratory conditions.
