The masterminds at LLNL are it again, presenting us with incredible innovations made possible by 3D printing. In teaming up with scientists from UC Santa Cruz, the researchers were able to use a new graphene-based bio-ink to create ‘micro-architected electrodes’ to build supercapacitators, which will pave the way for improving existing electronics that charge extremely fast, are lightweight, and only need a small amount of space for their batteries.
