3D Printed Hair for Cancer Survivors Much More Comfortable Than Wigs

While there are certainly problems that cause much greater pain and suffering, the emotional distress of losing your hair can be substantial—especially for those already undergoing physical challenges due to cancer and subsequent rigorous treatments. Now, thanks to the team at Cesare Ragazzi Laboratories in Italy, many can make the choice to have a 3D printed hairpiece made. Available in 12 states in the US and 12 other countries, this process is a bit on the costly side, but allows for a ‘second scalp’ to be fabricated with incredible realistic looking ‘hair’ that lasts for many years and is attached to the head piece by piece. The hairpieces can withstand bathing, swimming—and even jet-skiing! Read more at 3DPrint.com: http://3dprint.com/119182/cancer-sur...3d-print-hair/

I work with a company that does this out of California. I'd love to do, i'll have to take out a loan to afford this.
