    MarkForged -- 3D Printed Kevlar Hook Tows 3,000 lbs Car

    Now that MarkForged has released its benchmark materials data, Original Notions has put them to the test. The company recently used their Mark One 3D printer to create a 3D printed tow hook, using Kevlar-reinforced nylon, that proved capable of towing a 3000-lb car, matching the performance of a traditionally manufactured tow hook.     It doesn't take much power to pull a 3000 lb car on a flat surface. Even a kid can pull a car.

    haha i was just going to say that. i could push that car on the street myself with prob 1 hand. they lead you to believe that this hook is holding 3000 lbs of pulling force when its probably more like 150lbs. not saying that it wont hold alot of force but this is hardly any kind of real test. its one of those things some marketing dept dreams up.

    That is great innovation in the filed of towing it will help many companies to reduce the rates of the tow hook the Ritewaytowingnyc also includes many parts of 3D printed .
