Portugal’s BEEVERYCREATIVE 3D printing team was put to the test in a project recently with tight deadlines as they helped to produce accessories for the Mama Africa fashion line. With a show looming, the design studio, Lisbon’s Fashion Studio was in need of a specific amount of accessories in the shape of feathers, offering a tribal element to the line, but also incorporating European technology and design. The team pulled off the entire project without a hitch, using their BEETHEFIRST 3D printer, using PLA. Due to the malleability of the material in post-production, the team was able to dip the pieces in hot water and shape them however necessary, from body-fitting accessories to being places on purses and shoes.
