Sanding 3D Printed Objects
Finishing a print is a sometimes overlooked aspect of the 3D printing process, but Arif Iftakher shows us what a gradated sanding process can do to achieve a much smoother print. Iftakher provides us with some printing, sanding, painting and polishing tips that should help your prints move from acceptable to spectacular. The example used here is a Rumy (a portable sensor/controller for smart thermostats), but these tips should help you on many different kinds of 3D print jobs as well. If you've got some extra time, patience, and some cash for sandpaper, you are in business here. Happy Sanding! Read more at http://3dprint.com/113714/sandpaper-3d-printed-parts/
