Oculus Rift Coming in March -- What Does this mean for 3D Printing?
Virtual reality and 3D printing are part of the same world today, and both technologies (often mixed together) are--and will continue to be--responsible for great transformation in numerous industries. Currently, Facebook and Oculus Rift have announced that their VR headsets, priced at $599 will be ready for shipping on March 28th. They will, however, require the purchase of new, high-powered PCs for many in order to power the complex headsets. Also, at CES 2016 Las Vegas, Oculus Rift teamed up with NASA to thrill event-goers with a ‘ride’ through their Space System Launch prototype which is slated to be built in 2018.
