    CaptainObvious's workshop tools.

One of the best uses of 3D printing for me is to make custom tools, jigs and the like, so I'll be sharing them here as they come out in case any of this stuff is of use to other people.

I want to make some small cabinets with lots of little drawers, so last week I designed and printed a bunch of right-angle clamps to help with the job:

This are the links to the Corner Clamp and Mini Corner Clamp

I'll be adding more stuff later.

Some time ago I bought a 4030 router and the clamps that came with it were too clunky, so... Clamp set for 4030 CNC router

Small but handy, a "Hammer Nut" to use with 20x20 extrusions and M3 bolts.

    You are welcome.

I'm always making small (and not so small) tools and stuff that I never bother uploading to share, I thought if I have a thread running it may motivate me to do so and maybe some people find that stuff of some help.

Just uploaded a new thing, a small vise for the 4030 CND router; I need to do some machining on square aluminium tubes so I made a couple of these:

It has one special feature, a clamp that can be screwed on top to hold down the stock.

I uploaded a bunch of files for something I've been working on to standardize my small parts storage:

    IMG_1315.jpgIMG_1311.jpg

This boxes come in different sizes, for 6, 8, 9, 10, 12, 15, 16 and 20 small bins or a combination of small and larger bins. The small bins are 38x38mm and 25mm high, there's also double and triple size bins, the slanted top makes it easy to pick them up and can be used to put a label on.
I've designed a few special purpose bins, like a 24 piece drill bit index and a collet holder for Proxxon drill/grinders; I'll probably be adding more designs for this system as I make them, for example I want to design a modular stacking support for the boxes.

You can get the files here: Small Storage System
