How to put Makerbot firmware on Prusa I3

Hello is there anyway to upload the Makerbot firmware to prusa i3??
please let me know

I guess the main question would be: why ?

You then lose the opensource slicer capability and surely there are plenty good firmwares available for an i3 ?

ALso you would not be runing a makerbot clone with a mightyboard - so surely a bunch of stuff wouldn't work properly.

I guess if you build the i3 with a mighty board, you could do it. Not sure why you'd want to though.
