Gopro Mount Arm for Replicator 2

I wanted to make timelapse videos for my school's website using our Replicator 2. I've been having some issues with the way the parts connect but I'm working those out little by little on my own.

I wanted to see if anyone could give me some ideas on how to make my design simpler, or maybe help me make it work the same but will less parts.

    Here's my design: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:162805

hya what design software are you using?
send me an email (check in my profile), then i can see if i can help.
a sketch of the assembled unit would help others that might want to help.

I'm using Tinkercad, and I can take pictures of the printed pieces if you want, I don't have a sketch because half of this was someone else's work that I used with permission.

I'm not looking to completely redesign it, just maybe make it a bit simpler, or more sturdy.

Have you had a chance to print this out and use it yet?

Yes, I have. It works perfectly fine, albeit a slight err where the camera can't pan up high enough. The latest update to the design on Thingiverse should have fixed that though.
