Finland’s Versoteq has been busy since we checked in with them last upon their project to make outdoor, 3D printed tactile maps for the visually impaired at a local mall in Espoo. They have recently finished another project, making tactile maps for SLUSH, an enormously popular tech event in Europe. The 3D indoor maps were designed for those with normal vision, and help event goers navigate their way around SLUSH. A mobile app was made available as well.
