Issue printing calibration object at 0.1mm

I've been working on dialing in my I3V 10" with 0.4 Hexagon and things were going well until I tried printing the part in the pic at the finest resolution. The bed is at 70C and hotend at 195C (it was doing the same thing even at 215C).

Any idea what might be causing this? fixmyprintpls.jpgfixmyprintpls_closeup.jpg

Well... There is a point at which printing at 'finer' resolution produces worse results. I suspect you are past that point. The reason is you have the hot end so close to the plastic from the previous layer combined with so little material coming out of the nozzle (because the layer is so thin) that you do not get proper adhesion. I don't try to print that fine, but some of the people here that do are going to be able to help explain the limits.

    Thanks Roxy!

I think that's all it is. I realized that the settings here http://zennmaster.com/random-things/...-2-fine-tuning were for 0.2mm anyway.
The model prints fine at 0.2mm for me, so all is good for now.
