Hello all,

Pinshape did a Q&A with Wayne Huthmaker who is a 3D printing designer and former manufacturer who used 3D printing for rapid prototyping. He then started a 3D printing retailer and subsequently realized that many people have issues with the surface of their 3D printer which sparked the idea that became PRINTinZ. Now they specialize in print surfaces in addition to carrying printers and accessories.

That aside, since he's got a great background in 3D printing and designing for printing we sat down and asked him if he had any tips for upcoming designers so I thought it might be a useful article to share. Hope you find it helpful. If you have any questions or comments please feel free to leave them. If you have any questions for Wayne specifically I can absolutely pass them on and get back to you as well.

Cheers,
Lauren
