Russian Election Candidate uses 3D Printing to Exploit a Loophole

One Russian candidate used 3D printing as a loophole in trying to get re-elected. Read the article at: http://3dprint.com/994/russian-elect...-printed-mugs/

What do you think? Should this be allowed?

Hah, so, a law in Russia forbids giving gifts to voters, but allows distribution of printed materials. Distributing 3D printed mugs I bet is against the intent of the law. If they forbid this too, he could of course put a miniscule fee on the mug, so it wouldn't even be a gift anymore, but wouldn't technically be any different in my opinion. One might just as well forbid giving anything to potential voters, printed or not so why not just let it be...
