    please help prusa i3

    hello forum

    can anyone tell me what the best speeds (both x-axis z-axis and y-axis feed speed ) and temperatures (both bed and extruder) I use as, printer: Prusa Mendel i3 ,software : repetier host slic3r, filament pla

    well the pla should come with recommended printing temperatures. Start there.

    It does depend on supplier. I generally print pla at 210 - that's reprapper tech pla.
    Bed temp - depends what finish you have. I currently use gluestick and 60c bed temp.
    But for flexible pla I don't heat it at all.

    Sooo many threads on the forum that cover this kind of thing - and pretty much all manufacturers have recommended printing settings as well. Either included with the filament or on their websites.

    I have mine as Prusa i3, slic3r, infill_speed=60,perimeter_speed=30. For the PLA temperature, I initially starts at 180 C and either gradually increase/decrease the temperature at 5 degrees interval until my desired quality print is achieved.
