Researchers from the University of Akron and the University of Texas have researched, designed, and tested a new method which may not only take the pain out of administering medicine in the future, but eliminate the associated pain as well. With 3D printed microneedles using microstereolithography, the researchers found that they could load them with required drugs like dacarbazine for treating skin cancer and insert them into the skin where they effectively diffused medications and then degraded safely. Researchers found that the 3D printed microneedles were both effective and durable enough to withstand the process. Read more at 3DPrint.com: http://3dprint.com/99299/3d-printed-microneedle/
