While Russia has not yet established a market comparable to those in the US or Western Europe, 3D printing is certainly on the rise in the country--and VolgoBot, established in 2014, has just unveiled its first 3D printer, the VolgoBot 1.0. The FFF-based 3D printer is designed to be a professional piece of desktop equipment, featuring a 200 x 200 x 250 mm build volume, and now undergoing internal testing and available in a beta version for purchase. The beta version of the VolgoBot 1.0 costs just 47,000 Russian Rubles (approximately $700), although the final version will be priced at around 70,000 Rubles (approximately $1040).
