ACROBOTIC Industries , led by founder and CTO Francisco Zabala, has gotten together with Deezmaker 3D printers to bring to life their Pulsar "smart, wireless, wearable LED pixel" device, now available via Kickstarter. The Pulsar device can be utilized in several unique applications--but one of the most fun (available to backers at the $55 level on Kickstarter) is the 3D printed night lamp, which can be used as an alarm clock. Working through a Bluetooth-equipped device, the alarm functions without sound, but with plenty of lights to wake the sleeping user.
