    BOLT MINI 3D Printer

    Adarsh Simon, an aspiring product designer out of India, has assembled a team to create the BOLT MINI, an all-metal, open source 3D printer. Simon, an architecture student at RMI NITT, has now opened a Kickstarter campaign to fund the manufacture and development of the printer, and he says this device will serve as the platform for innovative and sophisticated fabrication tools going forward if the Kickstarter goals are met.     530 US$ for a 3D printer kit, and it looks like something already existing ... At least for that price they should be able to avoid a Mak*box scenario.
