It seems like 3D printing is playing a larger and larger role within the area of vehicle manufacturing. It's it's not the larger companies using the technology for prototyping, then it's the startups which are emerging interested in printed actual end-use body parts and even entire frames of cars. A new company called EVX Ventures has introduced their Immortus Solar powered car concept, which features 3D printable nodes that hold carbon fiber tubes together, making up the vehicle's main body.
