Designers at Honda Access in Japan have been using 3D printing as part of their product development since 2006, and technology proved so popular that HAC purchased their own Stratsys Objet Eden500V. Prototyping with 3D printing means HAC's designers can make rapid modifications to product designs and speed through the creation of iterations much faster. The entire process takes place in-house, which means their team has tighten design schedules by eliminating outsourcing delays.
