Nostalgia meets the latest in DIY electronics and 3D printing in a project shared by MakerBot Thingiverse contributor, mechanical designer, and gaming fan, James Drachenberg. He custom-designed his own GameBoy, the handheld personal gaming device that became wildly popular immediately following its release in 1989. Drachenberg 3D printed the housing for the electronics--several Adafruit components, including a Raspberry Pi A+. He provides step-by-step instructions for producing the device on his own blogsite, Dragon Mountain Design.
