Ontario’s RMRD Technologies and California’s MatterHackers will be partnering to take 50 3D printed turbines to Central America at the end of this year. The turbines are composed with a small, portable design in mind which allows villagers to charge items like small electronics even during times of low wind. Equipped with a unique ‘sail blade,’ the compact 3D printed turbines will be produced and supported by MatterHackers in terms of hardware, software, support, and required filament for 3D printers.
