Romanian Hackaday member suiram21 enjoys his skateboarding--and at high speeds. While skateboarders are usually able to stop using specific body movements, that’s not always easy at 40 mph. Looking for more of a safety guarantee, suiram21 used 3ds Max to design a one-wheel braking system, which he 3D printed on his Printrbot Metal Simple 3D printer. A work in progress, he may refine the 3D printed system to include braking with both wheels.
