df3d continues to forge ahead in providing their users with more tools to 3D print--and this time in a more recreational arena with the smartphone app now available on Google Play. An extension and improvement on the previously web-based eXtrud3it tool, users can take selfies and 3D print them, as well as use back lighting to manipulate the images. Still in the experimental stage, this is just the first of a number of apps we should look forward to from India’s df3d.
