3D printed cars are fast becoming a reality, with Local Motors and their Strati being among the first to hit the headlines. Andy Tran, who runs SWFL 3D and is developing the large-scale Mille 3D printer housed inside a shipping container, is hard at work in conceptualizing and bringing about a new 3D printed car, with the concept name AeroCycle. The one-seater car features an original design with advanced electronics and, of course, additive manufacturing technology behind its production. Tran hopes to cooperate with Local Motors on his idea. While no exact pricing for the concept AeroCycle car has been figured yet, Tran expects it to be less than the price of a new golf cart.
