Rep. 2X Fan has stopped running. Help please.

The extruder fan on my 2X has ceased running. I have yet to run a continuity test on it, but when swapping fan connections nothing changes. Also, the other fan now runs constantly regardless of the temperature. I have checked the settings (fan cut off/on is at 50C) as well as reinstall new firmware. I've heard rumblings that this could be assoc. with the motherboard. Can anyone shed any light on the issue or point me towards some troubleshooting?

It sounds like your MightyBoard has voltage issues. If you're still covered under warranty we would be happy to swap this out for you. In any case I recommend you open a case at support.makerbot.com.
