The results are in from the third annual hackathon at MakerBot headquarters in Brooklyn. Revolving around creating innovations for the ChillHub refrigerator by GE, a futuristic appliance that is wifi and USB enabled, participants were asked to come up with new inspiration for highly creative and connective 3D printed electronic devices. Six teams competed with first place going to NY Hackathons, who created Food Share, which is an incredible 3D printed electronic device that calculates food usage in the fridge, what will be left over, and allows for neighbors and interested parties to claim it.
