Australian Leo Rolph is taking his 3D design skills to new heights--by creating and successfully launching a water rocket launching system with a parachute system. After he designed several key components, he sent them to Shapeways for 3D printing, and then he turned to littleBits to control the electronics for the system. The rest of the components were easy to find; the parachute was a plastic bag, with dental floss as the cord, and the rocket's fins can be made from either foam board or balsa wood. Check out details behind the build, as well as launch videos, in the full story: http://3dprint.com/74108/littlebits-3d-printed-rocket/
