3D Printing Summer Classes at MIT

3D printing education is often targeted at grade schoolers, high schoolers, and even undergraduate and graduate students--but those professionals already in the workforce are also proving keen to learn about additive manufacturing, especially as it may find applications in various industries across the board. MIT is a bastion of education, and has seen several innovative 3D printing projects arise from its classrooms. Associate Professor John Hart has been at the helm of many such projects, as he teaches courses covering additive manufacturing. A short class to be offered this summer, "Additive Manufacturing: From 3D Printing to the Factory Floor," is targeted toward professionals interested in the technology. 3DPrint.com had a chance to interview Professor Hart about his classes and insights.
