Investigations into a scandal involving the sale of 3D printers and scanners in Jakarta have put Abraham “Haji Lulung” Lunggana on the hot seat. The lot allegedly involves a scheme to mark up costs in the procurement of 3D printers and scanners in 25 public schools in West Jakarta. Lunggana came under scrutiny for his ties to the former head of infrastructure at the West Jakarta Education Agency, Alex Usman, a key figure in another Indonesian technology scandal. Lunggana served as the coordinator of the Education Commission at the DPRD but denies involvement in the 3D printer and scanner corruption schemes.
