3D Printed 'Ear of Hell' Speaker

Ted Kessler is a San Francisco Bay Area designer and artist who fuses art and science in his work. Kessler says his background in music, literature and art theory led him to create the Ear to Hell, a 3D printed update to the standard audio speaker. Kessler says that since the invention of the speaker in the 1860s, they have more or less been constructed with the same materials. He says he was interested in “reproducing a classic design with a cutting-edge technology and modern materials.” You can read the whole story here: http://3dprint.com/72675/ear-to-hell...inted-speaker/
