Julija Frodina designed a wild pair of 3D printed shoes -- or foot structures -- for a final Master's project in her Industrial and Product Design program at Vilnius Academy of Arts. She wanted to fuse traditional design/production methods with modern design/ production methods, and the outcome looks very postmodern and very uncomfortable -- but who knows? Designed in Rhino and 3D printed in corn plastic, these foot structures definitely get us to reconsider the boundary between shoes, sculpture, and even architecture. Is that tiny buildings on your feet or are you just happy to see me? Read more about these architectural shoes in the full story: http://3dprint.com/72019/3d-printed-structural-shoes/
