Instructables member Gosse Adema takes us through the steps of building his Lego 3D Printer, featuring and X, Y, and Z axis. Based on the premise of a Prusa I3 rework printer, while it is built from Lego blocks it is not, as he states, ‘a 100 percent Lego printer,’ as it does not embody any Mindstorms products or servos. It features a heated bed and a sturdy L-frame that is 36 blocks high. What do you guys think? Is it worth building a 3D printer out of individual Lego bricks? More information and details on how to construct this printer yourself can be found here: http://3dprint.com/70539/instructable-legos-3d-printer/
