Bucktown Polymers develops formulations for coatings, inks, resins, adhesives and composites for a wide range of industries, and they say their latest 3D printing material, they call it ROR or Rinse Out Resin, is a game changer. They say the material is ideal as a temporary support structure for other materials or for patterns meant for casting. The post-cure, water soluble support material or pattern can be rapidly dissolved in just minutes, and Carl Wang of Bucktown says these water soluble materials can be formulated to be compatible with many a wide range of technologies such as SLA, DLP, Inkjet and powder processes.
