The Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zürich just purchased a fleet of Stratasys uPrint SE Plus 3D printers to allow their undergraduate engineering design students to become more engaged in their studies. Professor Kristina Shea of ETH Zurich says her school selected the Stratasys' uPrint SE Plus printers reliability and the printer's ability to produce high-quality, functional parts. With between 450-500 students in the classes, Shea says reliability was key to the decision. She adds that building high-quality, functional physical models means here students are far more engaged.
