    Duplicator 4 Z axis problem

Hi All! Got some issues with my second hand Duplicator 4 that i was hoping someone could help me with.

    Howdy,

I was wondering if you could please help me diagnose some issues I’m having with my second hand duplicator 4.

When the z axis / HB lowers all the way :
The print starts, the bed won’t raise unless i put my finger under it with a TINY amount of pressure then it raises. Running latest sailfish

    Thanks

PS: I’m running a mac and tried replicatorG and makerbot applications

support@wanhao3dprinter.com suggested "loosen 4 bolt on the Z axis motor then manually move the platform up and down 10 times" to home the position.
    Did this - no effect.

These are the same symptoms however resetting to defaults didn’t fix as it did for this fellow

    Hi,

I've just received my WanHao Duplicator 4X.

    That's what I did:
    - Assembled plexiglass panels
    - Updated to sailfish 7.6
    - Tried to "Level build plate".

When I click "Level build plate" or "home axis", X and Y axis comes to right position but Z axis motor makes a bad noise and doesn't go to the right position.
If I move platform by hand, it moves slowly and it maker a big noise D:

I press "Reset Motherboard completely" and it now works thank you dude!”

I tried this per that post and no change unless I touch the bottom of the build plate and give it a little push – then it starts.
