What do you use to lube your threaded rod?

I have been printing on the machine for at least 10 hours now and want to lube the threaded rod. What can I purchase at Home Depot/Lowes/Ace that would work?

    Sometimes Liquid Wrench Penetrating Oil.
    Sometimes 3-in-One Multi-Purpose Oil.
    Sometimes DuPont Teflon Multi-Use Lubricant.

Whichever one is in sight and reach when my threaded rods start squeaking.

I used Rem Oil (Remington Gun Oil) or Slip2000 (gun grease). You can find the Rem oil at any outdoors store, but the slip 2000 you will need to get online.

Also good to avoid spraying hairspray on the rods. it's basically anti-lube. (ask me how I know)

I found and use sewing machine oil, which is probably the same as the 4 in 1 oil I think.

I use bearing packing grease from an auto parts store. It is inexpensive & will probably last me forever. This is what someone recommended I use awhile back. It is a little messy, but seems to work well & have not had to put it on very often.

Thank you! I purchased some 3 in one and applied it.
