I designed a new hanger for pegboards - has two parts, one connects to the board, the other hangs off that first part to be tool-specific. So that first part is versatile, and I can design (or YOU can) new tool connectors... I started with the one I needed most - for a set of 8 small pliers and cutters. Came out great - very strong and easy to get the tools in/out - and space efficient.
