Prusa i3 Z axis Backward issue

Hi

Thought i would post this in here in hope of help, Just setting up my Prusa i3 and for some reason as soon as the machine starts a print job (test) it immediately wants to go to the top of the Z-axis, i am stopping it with a sesnor or it would just keep going, i stop it at the top and it starts running the print job backwards on the X axis, I have switched the motor wires around and it is no differant, even changed the direction in settings but still wants to start at the top, at the end of a job it returns to the bottom corner but as soon as it starts a job it wants to go straight up! Help

sounds like your limit switch is wired up backwards.

Genius! i swapped the wires around for the sensor on the mainboard and hey presto! Printer working perfectly now! Thank you, Appreciated
