Many may be surprised to find that Lamborghini is highly invested in 3D printing of components for their vehicles, as well as greatly relying on it for building prototypes and models for intensive testing purposes. Since 2007, Lamborghini has been using Stratasys 3D printers, upgrading every few years. They currently use a Fortus 400mc Production System, which features a large build envelope. 3D printing technology is responsible for producing Lamborghini parts like bumpers, door panels, and conveyors and air heaters.
