    Print2Taste's Bocusini Food 3D Printer

German Start up Print2Taste is readying a new take on the food 3D printer, a pre-filled food capsule that fits inside of a hardware peripheral that can be retrofitted to existing open source 3D printers like the Printrbot Metal and the Ultimaker 2. The Bocusini is capable of 3D printing with food products as diverse as chocolate, jelly, cookie dough, mashed potatoes, and liver pâté. You can find out more over on 3DPrint.com: http://3dprint.com/60365/boscusini-food-3d-printer/

Bocusini is now offering their system for 3D printing food on Kickstarter, in hopes to raise €30,000 for finishing development on the product, design, as well as items like user-friendliness and the smartphone app. It’s a plug and play 3D printing system where the user simply plugs in in their cartridge, enters the correct settings, and begins to 3D print.

it's a nice gimmick - but i suspect the food cartridges will be prohibitively expensive.
