London artist Elizabeth Gossling’s recently opened exhibition, titled "Burn," pays homage to the creator of the “telesnap,” the freeze-frame images generated from taking a still shot of a television screen. Gossling enlisted my3Dtwin, a London-based 3D scanning and 3D portrait producing firm that uses full-body scanners to capture its subjects. The results of the 3D scans were surprising, adding an unexpected layer of meaning to the artist’s works.
