Tethers Unlimited, Inc., develops technologies for space and defense missions, and the company's products include space propulsion systems, software-defined radios for small satellites, and a variety of systems for in-space additive manufacturing like the Positrusion Recycler. The Positrusion Recycler is being developed with a grant from NASA to take plastic waste and turn it into usable 3D filament for additive manufacturing processes on the International Space Station. In the past, TUI has also developed an additive manufacturing technologies for 3D printing like the Trusselator and SpiderFab fabrication processes to build satellite components like antennas and solar arrays.
